Before you can add the Google Chrome icon to your desktop, make sure you have it installed on your computer. If you are certain that you have it installed, skip this section. If you are downloading Chrome on your PC, then you are the administrator. You can find the administrator name in Windows at C: Users. Yes, click on 'run' or 'save' to start the installer. Install a fresh copy of Google Chrome for all user accounts on your computer. From any other browser that works (e.g. Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, etc.), download and run the Alternate (offline) Google Chrome installerfor all user accounts. I just purchased this laptop yesterday and can't seem to figure out how to get Chrome on it. It has Edge but i can't get my online driving lessons to work on that and it says I need Chrome. When I try to download it, it takes me to an app store on my computer where it shows google. Download the installation file. Open the file called 'googlechrome.dmg'. In the window that opens, find Chrome. Drag Chrome to the Applications folder.
